The second festival of its kind takes place during a three-day filmic extravaganza from Friday 5th-Sunday 7th April, giving budding film makers and movie lovers alike the chance to participate in this brilliant big screen event.
The venue is The Acorn Theatre in Penzance, where everything from screenings and talks to workshops and a festival party will take place.
From animation to fiction, documentary, poetry and scriptwriting, the event will see a brilliant mix of genres expressed in a variety of ways, culminating in a party with the Badlands Blues Band and an esteemed award ceremony.
With a focus on independent film, festival goers will delight in this year’s offerings, which includes director of the documentary film award Portabello Film Festival, Henry Scott-Irving’s documentary film, Tales of Tin Pan Alley alongside Luke Bradford’s award winning fiction film, Risk.
In addition, Llyn Aubrey will be showing Celtic Media Award winning, Living on the Edge followed by a discussion about the film; while Carn to Cove director, Tim Smithies will be introducing his film Tommies, with other featured works by Annabelle Aquirre, Martin Kiszko, Lucy English and Rafiqfuad Yaramadi.
