Foodie Round-Up

From farmer’s markets to fine dining and local cafés and delis brimming with local produce, west Cornwall’s foodie status can be found everywhere, from everyday award-winning pasties to world-renowned AA rosette cuisine.

Bakers will enjoy The Great Lamorna Bake Off (23rd March, Lamorna Village Hall) - the third and final heat of the event whose challenge is ‘a plate of savoury and sweet items suitable for a posh afternoon tea.’ Go and watch the judging by Helen Swift of Penzance’s Archie Brown’s before tucking in to the feast of entries.

The Exchange's Spring Supper Clubs return to the gallery's cafe, with Sushi and Ramen Nights on 2nd March and 6th April, and Middle Eastern Feast on 23rd March for anyone fancying some global flavours and a slice of art to boot!

Make a rural retreat to The Gurnard’s Head near Zennor for their Spring Wine Supper on 23rd March, which combines gorgeous cuisine with wines from Richard Hamblin’s More Wine.

Or why not combine some top-notch grub with a spot of spa downtime courtesy of Una St Ives’ wonderfully laid-back ‘Dip & Dine’ offer, where you can enjoy a free swim when dining with them on a Thursday?
