Mousehole is a stunning location situated in the heart of West Cornwall. And our Mousehole cottages provide a relaxing holiday destination for families and couples alike. A wonderful local fishing village which is full of charm and character and a popular place for people searching for looking for a traditional Cornish cottage.

Always a popular tourist destination, this small village plays home to a lovely small beach located by the harbour and a host of shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants.
The area has kept much of its character through the years and one common feature is the donkey wide streets that criss-cross the village. It's worth while knowing that it would be better parking on the outskirts of the village and enjoying the short walk in to the heart of the village itself to make life more hassle free.

The village has been sustained by its vibrant fishing community during the past decades which is now sadly in decline however many traditions are still carried on today like that of 'Tom Babcock's Eve'. This is an event where a gigantic fish pie is baked and served to patrons of the local pub. This has become more popular over the years and attracts hundreds of tourists and people from neighbouring villages.
