Styled throughout in a South African theme complete with an interesting array of tribal artifacts, the property has been furnished to a very high standard and decorated with a warm and neutral palette of colours which are predominantly cream and mushroom. Spacious open plan styling, comfortable sofas, deep filled cushions, tiled floors and double French style patio doors leading to a timber deck complete the relaxing and al fresco feel of this stunning holiday home. Guests have the exclusive use of a private garden area and shared access to the stunning 12x6 heated infinity pool with those glorious rural and sea views whether you are swimming or just relaxing on a sun lounger. Whilst total privacy cannot always be guaranteed, the owners of the property are fully aware of your need for space and therefore will do their utmost to respect this wish during your stay. The Summer House is a stunning property in a stunning location and therefore demand will be high, so book early to avoid any disappointment!

  Entrance to The Summer House is accessed through electronic gates (key pad) and private drive to the rear of the property. Several steps and handrail to rear door. Open plan ground floor living area complete with natural polished stone floors throughout, fully fitted cream kitchen units, black granite worktops, ceramic hob, electric oven and grill, washing machine, Belfast sink and espresso coffee machine. Multiple sofa units, scatter rugs, dining room table and chairs, flat screen TV with free view channels and over 200 complimentary DVD's. A truly sumptuous Bathroom which has been fully tiled in natural polished stone complete with large free standing bath and hand basin, W.C. and heated towel rail. Double French style patio doors leading to deck area and private garden. Stairs to first floor and spacious bedroom with king size bed, extensive reading/quiet area with sofa seating and velux windows overlooking the pool and gardens. WiFi, Stereo with iPod/MP3 docking. The swimming pool and patio area are accessed via the deck area and several steps with hand rail. Parking for two cars. Please note: The access to this property and the surrounding amenities are via two sets of steps with hand rails however, The Summer House is not suitable for those guests with severe mobility problems. Guests are kindly asked to refrain from smoking inside the property and unfortunately pets are not accepted.

  With a profusion of narrow streets, donkey wide alleys and history at every turn, Mousehole is the epitome of a picturesque Cornish fishing village in a simply stunning setting. In fact Dylan Thomas who spent much of his honeymoon in the village described Mousehole as the prettiest village in all England.
  Located just three miles westward from Penzance on the curve of Mounts Bay, the village is centred around an almost completely circular harbour with a small and truly charming beach which always proves popular with families, particularly those with small children.
  Mousehole has largely resisted modern day trappings and remains unspoiled by 21st century developments. Working fishing boats still ply their trade from the harbour which is protected from the might of the Atlantic by two sturdy breakwaters, (Cornwall’s earliest and begun in 1393) and today are accompanied by visiting yachts and pleasure craft, making the panorama of the harbour truly peaceful and idyllic.
  The village itself is a veritable maze of granite and slate cottages, winding narrow streets and cobbled alleyways which have a magic and mystery all of their own amd just waiting to be explored. Virtually unchanged by time, its natural beauty and charm still attracts many artists, drawn by its unique atmosphere and beautiful light.
  The famous National Trust cliff walk round the Land’s End Peninsula starts at Mousehole. One of its most beautiful stretches is south from the village to Lamorna Cove and the Coastal Footpath continues towards Penberth and Porthcurno. The whole walk is full of breathtaking scenery and the immediate and surrounding coastline is officially designated an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ by the National Trust.

  Mousehole has a fine selection of craft and gift shops and small art galleries and in addition to some excellent pubs and restaurants (which serve the freshest fish you will ever enjoy, landed and delivered daily from nearby Newlyn).There is an enviable choice of tearooms serving quite delicious Cornish cream teas with mountains of golden clotted cream and superb fresh crab sandwiches.
