The words breathtaking, beautiful and chic are really quite inadequate when trying to describe this luxurious penthouse which has stunning, 180 degree, uninterrupted views of the harbour, Mounts Bay and the Lizard peninsula in the distance. The wonders of modern digital photography are extremely helpful but nothing can prepare you for the moment that you walk through the door of this truly unique apartment and are confronted with one of the most picturesque and sought after views in the world! Located on the top floor of the former Lobster Pot Hotel in Mousehole, St. Clements is a grade II listed building which has been skilfully re- designed by a local Architect and the final 'look' created by an interior designer. The result is a truly magnificent holiday home that literally oozes quality and sophistication whether it's from the bespoke, hand painted kitchen with polished black granite worktops or from the solid oak floors with under floor heating - The marble tiled en-suite bathrooms or from the 40in flat screen TV with Sky and Wifi access.

The Lobster Pot development has only recently been completed and sits in a commanding position on the very edge of the harbour with the sea lapping around its feet. The original hotel was renowned around the globe for its unique location, standard of accommodation and hospitality. According to archive material, the hotel was the honeymoon choice of Dylan Thomas after he married Caitlin McNamara and immortalised Mousehole through his poetry as the loveliest village in England. Today, the village remains relatively unscathed and retains a huge amount of character and charm which seems to envelope you as you wander down the donkey-wide streets and narrow little alleyways. A plethora of galleries and craft shops await you together with a selection of local pubs and restaurants serving some of the finest fish and seafood in the country. St. Clements is an exclusive and unique rental property - the memory of which will stay with you for a lifetime!

With a profusion of narrow streets, donkey wide alleys and history at every turn, Mousehole is the epitome of a picturesque Cornish fishing village in a simply stunning setting. In fact Dylan Thomas who spent much of his honeymoon in the village described Mousehole as the prettiest village in all England.
Located just three miles westward from Penzance on the curve of Mounts Bay, the village is centred around an almost completely circular harbour with a small and truly charming beach which always proves popular with families, particularly those with small children.
Mousehole has largely resisted modern day trappings and remains unspoiled by 21st century developments. Working fishing boats still ply their trade from the harbour which is protected from the might of the Atlantic by two sturdy breakwaters, (Cornwall’s earliest and begun in 1393) and today are accompanied by visiting yachts and pleasure craft, making the panorama of the harbour truly peaceful and idyllic.
The village itself is a veritable maze of granite and slate cottages, winding narrow streets and cobbled alleyways which have a magic and mystery all of their own amd just waiting to be explored. Virtually unchanged by time, its natural beauty and charm still attracts many artists, drawn by its unique atmosphere and beautiful light.
The famous National Trust cliff walk round the Land’s End Peninsula starts at Mousehole. One of its most beautiful stretches is south from the village to Lamorna Cove and the Coastal Footpath continues towards Penberth and Porthcurno. The whole walk is full of breathtaking scenery and the immediate and surrounding coastline is officially designated an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ by the National Trust.

Mousehole has a fine selection of craft and gift shops and small art galleries and in addition to some excellent pubs and restaurants (which serve the freshest fish you will ever enjoy, landed and delivered daily from nearby Newlyn). There is an enviable choice of tearooms serving quite delicious Cornish cream teas with mountains of golden clotted cream and superb fresh crab sandwiches.
